I am having the same problems as everyone else. Spent time waiting on hold using their customer service number. Finally contacted someone using a number found on bbb. The local BBB for awesome auger is currently doing an investigation on the company. At least something is happening. Paid over 300.00 for 3 augers. Only wanted one. My dad is disabled and got so confused using the website this is what happened.

As see on the TV! I bought the awesome auger through their website. The total bill was $110.65 with two awesome auger. I called a customer service at 920-966-6600 right away to cancel an addition one. However, a lady said that she couldn't get throught information of my order and toll me call back tomorrow. when I called them back after a day, she still said that she couldn't get through my order. But, I asked for an email to cancel the addition one, but she toll me need call back them on Monday because I couldn't do it through email. I don't know why they sent me a confirmation of my order, but they couldn't get through my order? They are really SCAM with the order. I would like to know how can we sue them? I'm disable and have a fix income.

Like everyone else I saw the commercial on TV and called right away to get the awesome auger. It has been about 8 weeks now and I have not received it. I have tried to email, with no luck and called and called and waited on the phone and always the same, can never speak to anyone, because of the recording advisising you to wait on the line.I am worried because I gave all my information over ther phone. I am worried about what will happen with my personal info. What a scam, again. What can we do about this

My mother who just turned 70 and is on a fixed income ordered the Awesome Auger and was supposed to receive the drill for free and the bonus 2 items plus shipping and processing. She never even received her bonus items but was charged $48.90 for nothing. Her bill was supposed to be $19.95 plus 8.95 shipping and processing. Her credit card bill reflected a charge of $68.85. She finally got through to a person in their customer service department and they said she could send back the merchandise but would not get credited the $48.90 shipping and processing fee. What a ripoff! This company should be exposed for the scam that they are. We intend to file complaints with Attorney General's office and the BBB. Also, I am going to call the local TV stations, because they love stories like this one. Maybe we can expose these crooks for what they are.

Just as it is stated on the internet."Awesome Auger seen on T.V. ..Take the hard work-out of yaardwork $120 Value for $19.99" The return address on the box Is Awesome Augar 35 Wisconsin Ave, Oshkosh, Wi. 54901.As you all know the phone number for customer service does not work. so I contacted the Chamber of Commerce and found that the business at that address is Till Logistics their phone number is 920-236-7100

Silly me, bought something from an infomerical. My wife bought the awesome auger for me for a birthday present. all I got was the two augers, no extension,no drill or bulb planter. I have also tried to call, keep getting their machine telling me how importent my call is to them. The augers are also pretty cheap themselves. My credit card co. said to send them back registered mail(so they have to sign for them).

my story is just about the same as all the others I've read. you are put on hold for hours and then you cabn't even get a correct e-mail address. this scam address came up and I'm so great full. I to have a bad back and thought it would just the thing for me. Didn't even get the right order. I'm a senior citizen and on a fixed income so it is really hard on me.

I thought like everyone else I was to get the weed auger and the drill and the extension, after 3 phone calls and about 45 minutes on hold I finally got through and the girl acted like she didn't care and she has heard all of this before, which I'm sure she has, if you go to the awesome auger web site it says the same thing about all of the free stuff you get when you pay the shipping and handling, I think Billy Mays and the items he sells should be made to give you what you want without all of the other add on items they try to get you to buy on the phone, and you never get to talk to a person just a robot, I wish you all good luck, I will never buy anything that Billy Mays sells ever again, Ron

My husband has had several back surgeries, but loves to garden. When he saw this product, he thought it would be great for him. He was under the impression fromt he infomercial that he would be getting the auger, a small auger for weeds, an extension, and a drill. He did not receive any of the extra items. When he attempted to contact the company, he was on hold for several hours without anyone picking up. He finally hung up and asked me to go on the e-mail site to contact customer service. When I went on the customer service site given by the automated phone message, I was immediately sent to the informercialscam.com web site where I found 17 others who had attempted to purchase the product and were dissatisfied. I immediately called my credit card company to logde a dispute against payment for an item that I did not receive.

I along with soooooooo many others have been very expencively scammed. I ordered the auger and an addidtional one also, It looked like a good product but of course I hated it from the time I saw the charge taken out of my account. It upset me to see that I ordered a 19.95 auger with bonus weed aug and power extender with the drill plus s&h. My account was charged 97.70 and packing and handling was 57.80 it cost more to ship then the 2 orders together. Well it got even worse when I finally did receive my package it did not come with the bonus gifts I only received the auger and cheap drill. What about my weed aug and power extender. I tried as many of you have and I too was on hold for a very long time 25 min of waiting and I go no where nobody got my call. I got tired of holding. We all have to do something about this it is absolutely crazy that they are ripping off so many of us.

The awesome auger is a big rip off. I ordered the auger also thinking I was suppose to get the drill with it. At least on the commercial that's what they tell you. But no, I ordered it the first part of Sept. I finally just got it and the shipping and
handling was $l7.90 for 2 augers. No drills with either one. I am not happy with the product and wish to return it. I cannot get ahold of anybody on the customer service number it is a dead number. If your not happy with the product you should be able to
return it. I am not paying the total of $54.55 for 2 augers, one at $l9.95 the second one for the great deal of $l4.95 and then they charge you $l7.90 for the shipg and handlg. I don't think so. I will not pay for this at all. The one and only person defending the company must actually work for Mike. I would never order anything from mike again on t.v. or in a store. Mike, you are the biggest ripoff I've ever seen. This will catch up to you, remember what goes around comes around!!!!!!

This is a SCAM. My experience is the same as the others on this page. All the free gifts never came and I was left with two useless augers. I am 68 with a bad back so I thought this would be good to me. Do not fall for this and please do not try it because if you want to return anything you can't because this company can never be reached. Thank goodness for American Express which I know will take care of this and file a claim. Good luck to the others that are in the same boat as me and shame on you Willy Mays

I ordered the auger exspecting power drills and extenders as seen on tv only to recieve the augers. So went online to reread the add only to find out that I am not the only one to be scammed by Billy and the company and I was not told that i had to order the drills when i ordered the things. I will never order anything from Billy again and feel his days of selling on tv are over. |
